Healthy Marriages

Hey, Guys, give your wife a Valentine’s gift she will really love… Register to come to Healthy Marriages Seminar, Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Clint Davis (Samaritan Counseling Center) and his wife Jacie will lead this fun and dynamic seminar.

This course is not more of the same. This is not about how men are from Mars and women are from Venus. This is about real people in real marriages developing liberating and life-giving relationships.  We will work together in large and small groups to understand and identify our struggles, family history, and conflict styles. We will address spiritual gifts, personality types, and how we all can improve communication and conflict resolution.  You will be given practical tools to work through conflict, to strengthen and drastically change your marriage for the good. We will work towards a marriage that ishealthy and that can represent Christ to our children, community, and the world. Whether you are just thinking about getting married or have been married 30 years, your relationship will be blessed!

Cost is $50/couple.  Lunch included.

Thank you!

We’d like to thank the First Shreveport sunday school classes that came together and purchased presents for 18 homeless and needy children this year. The party was a success, with special thanks to Tina Hooper for the food. We had 52 children from 25 families that had a great Christmas this year because of angels like those in our Sunday School classes!
